Air Conditioning Update

Dear Parishioners,

We would like to keep you informed about an unexpected issue with our church's air conditioning system.

Unfortunately, our church chiller has reached the end of its service life and is no longer functioning. We believe the recent power outage and resulting electrical fluctuations may have caused the compressors to fail. After consulting with our HVAC professionals, we have learned that, regardless of the option we choose, it is unlikely that the air conditioning can be restored before the end of the summer.

Our Buildings & Grounds Committee and parish leadership are carefully evaluating both short-term and long-term solutions. While we want to restore air conditioning as quickly as possible, we also want to make a prudent decision that serves the parish well for many years to come.

In the meantime, we are taking temporary measures to make the church as comfortable as possible by placing large fans throughout the church and parish hall.

We recognize that attending Mass and parish events may be less comfortable during these warm summer months. We sincerely ask for your understanding, patience, and prayers as we work through this challenge.
